It was with great sadness that we heard of the death of Les Lockett in July 2009.

Here’s a photo of Les and Mick from  Mick’s visit  to Stoke in 2006 which he made to see his old haunts.

Les showed us around his pottery decorating workshop at Longton, Stoke-on-Trent.

Les’s workshop is still going strong and the  business remains in the family. Les features in the book. He was quite a character.
